These terms govern your use of the website rentavela.com and of the Rentavela client platform. The website and the platform are operated by Rentavela, based in Barcelona, Spain

By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website

The content of this website is general information about the Rentavela service. It is not legal, tax or investment advice, and it is not an offer to sell property or to provide services

Figures, examples and tools on the website, such as the income estimator, the ownership comparison and the sample statements, are illustrative. Real results depend on the apartment, the market, the tax rules that apply to you and your personal situation. Prices and rents can fall as well as rise

Rentavela arranges the selection, verification, remote purchase, letting and management of residential apartments in Spain. You buy a real apartment, registered in your own name or in the name of a company you own. Rentavela offers no fund shares, securities, deposits or other financial instruments

Each engagement is governed by a written service agreement, signed before any work on your purchase begins. The agreement sets the scope of the work, the fees, the taxes and the duties of each side. Where the agreement and this website differ, the agreement prevails. Select a step to see which rules apply at each stage

Access to the platform opens by invitation, after the first conversation and the verification of your identity. When you use the platform:

• Keep your password and your second login factor to yourself, and tell us at once if you suspect that someone else has used your account
• Use your account for yourself only. A representative who acts for you receives an account of their own, with limited access
• Upload only documents that are genuine, complete and yours to share
• Keep notifications on, so that requests and deadlines reach you in time

Screens of the platform shown on this website illustrate the product and may differ from the version you use. Features open gradually. We may suspend access to an account to protect you, other clients or the platform, and we tell you why unless the law prevents it

This website never asks for payments. Payment details for your purchase appear only in your platform account, in the card of the step they belong to, and your manager confirms them to you by voice. We never send payment details by email or messenger, never change them at the last moment and never hurry you into a transfer

Impostors target large transfers. Before you pay anything, check the request against these four questions

You agree to use the website and the platform lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:

• Try to gain access to any part of the website, the platform or our systems that is not meant for you
• Copy content in bulk or collect data from the website with automated tools
• Send malicious code, spam or anything that disrupts the service
• Pretend to be someone else, or submit another person’s data without their permission
• Use the website or the platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering

The texts, design, graphics, logo, the Rentavela name and the software of the website and the platform belong to Rentavela or to its licensors. You may view and save pages for your own personal use. Any commercial use, copying or adaptation requires our written permission

The website links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and the Spanish Data Protection Agency. They open in a new tab, and their own terms and policies apply there. We are not responsible for their content

We work to keep the website and the platform available and accurate. We may interrupt them for maintenance or security, and we may change or remove content when the service changes

We prepare the content of the website with reasonable care. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the website alone, or for losses caused by interruptions we could not reasonably prevent

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Spanish consumer law, set out in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, or under the mandatory law of the country where you live

We may update these terms when the website, the platform or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply from the date they are published and do not alter a service agreement you have already signed

These terms are governed by Spanish law. The courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction over any dispute about them

If you use the website as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country where European Union rules allow it
